Each tip comes from our own personal experiences. We are not contractors. We are not renovation professionals. We are just like the vast majority who are home owners who needed both minor and major improvements to their home but have no experience with renovations.

Of course, no one is an island. All of our adventures have involved others outside our family. This includes our primary contractor, kitchen designer,?installation specialists, as well as specialty and general retailers. While we will very rarely mention them by name (strangely they are a shy bunch ),? their contribution to our renovation experiences will be included herein.

Lately we have been writing on the many, many aspect of home energy conservation and our experiences therein; there’s much to write about in this regard.
